Fees and Rebates.

Clinical Psychologist with Medicare:

Rebate $145.25

For Australian clients, Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 sessions each year with a General Practitioner (GP) or Psychiatrist referral and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). Medicare rebates are also available for Telehealth consultations.

Reports.

Written reports will normally be charged at the hourly rate ($260). Please note that we do not undertake family court, forensic or medico-legal reports.

Cancellation Policy.

We require a minimum of 48 hours or 2 full business day’s notice for cancellations. A cancellation fee of 50% of the fee will be charged if you cancel your appointment later than this. For no-shows where no notification has been given, there will be a 100% cancellation fee. Unfortunately rebates or third party payments (e.g. Medicare, Workcover, insurance etc.) can not be claimed for missed appointments.

We are registered with Workcover Queensland and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA).

If you have private health fund, you may be eligible to claim rebates for sessions with a psychologist. Check with your provider for your specific policy.
